The Tagus Creek range aims to make Portuguese wine more user friendly. The packaging is clear and simple and the wine are blends of indigenous varieties with more familiar grapes - Cabernet Sauvignon & Aragones, Chardonnay & Fernao Pires, and so on. What this toothsome pink lacks in complexity, it makes up for it in gutsy flavour. Remember strawberry Mivvi lollies? Here they are in liquid form: luscious, moreish and a bargain.
