Tagus Creek Syrah/Trincadeira 2004
Portugal is one of my favourite countries, and it's a good source of affordable wines with plenty of character. This robust, chunky yet refined red blends together Portuguese grape Trincadeira with foreign import Syrah. The result is a wine packed full of spicy red berry fruits with a firm, savoury structure.
